Magnificent explanations! Powerful presentations. A friend has forwarded this to the Peace and Social Concerns Committee of Southeastern Yearly Meeting and I’ve sent it to the Tallahassee Monthly Meeting Peace and Social Concerns committee. Of course, this will thereby go beyond the committees. What needs doing from down here in FL?

I wish you would also provide these responses in print. Watching videos takes too long and listening to them is too hard on the train. I always mean to come back and watch them later, but hardly ever do. Best wishes for your good work.

George explaining that once you have achieved a smaller action, i.e. a walk across the commonwealth, then you begin a process to tackle a much larger issue with more people making a fundamental change in their individual lives. A simple act, withdrawl of money from a PNC bank if they refuse to stop funding mountain top removal, has to happen on a larger scale to have the intended outcome. I think I “get it” now that I have listened to all the videos, thank you.

What is worse… Mountain Top Removal? Or Offshore Drilling? Did people forget about the BP mess a few years ago? People may notice these disasters for a minute hoewver, they are quickly forgotten. Imagine what would happen if everyone would simply take 1 day a week and not drive anywhere? The polutants that are expelled daily from transportation being removed for just one 24 hour period would increase the quality of air dramatically! Not to mention what message it would send to the oil companies! The fact of the matter is that what you are doing seems valiant however, most of the population is either too selfish or too lazy to do anything

So what banks do I have to choose from when I move my money from PNC?
